With over six years of experience, Ebehi Ijewere has worked with architecture firms in Lagos, Miami, and Atlanta. She has gained experience in commercial, healthcare, educational, aviation, civic, industrial, multi-family, and retail projects. Ebehi currently works as a Lead Architect at Jacobs engineering and is one of two Communications Directors on the AIA Atlanta Board of Directors. She also joins NOMAtlanta’s 2023 Board of Directors as the Professional Development Director.
Ebehi’s passion for design and community development led her to create the Layers of Design Studio. This multidisciplinary studio focuses on global community development and enrichment through design and architecture. The Layers of Design Studio participates in competitions exploring solutions to issues within different communities, hosts events that spark conversations and inspires the community through volunteer experiences. Aside from building Layers of Design and working as a designer, Ebehi enjoys hiking and traveling and is always searching for her next design/community challenge.
