Every year, NOMAtlanta gets out in the community for a day on and not a day off on MLK Day. This year, NOMAtlanta members and friends braved freezing temperatures on a brisk Monday morning to team up with the Circle of Trust Network (a networking community for the commercial development industry), Project REAP (Real Estate Associate Program) and RRC (Resources for Residents and Communities). Volunteers helped draw and paint murals, rake leaves, transport and spread mulch, paint interior walls, clean up garbage on the premises and more. “We’re so grateful to have organizations like NOMAtlanta be here to lend a hand to help out our residents,” said RRC Executive Director Mitch Brown. “It means a lot that our community’s architects and designers care to make a difference with us.”
